1: Asthma Symptoms Adults Causes:

There are many causes of asthma, such as:

  • Contact sensitive
  • Physical labor
  • Inhaling cold air
  • infection
  • Drug allergy

People with asthma, especially children, are generally sensitive to house dust mites and animal hair. If you have sensitive asthma, you or your family may also have eczema or hay fever.

Other sensitive sources that may cause symptoms to include:

  • Chemicals in the workplace (note whether the symptoms appear when you work)
  • Other environmental pollutants, such as secondhand smoke

The above incentives can stimulate the airway in the lungs, making asthma easy to attack. The reason why the symptoms will only occur at a specific time and why only some people are affected is still unclear.

2: Adult Asthma Diagnosis:

Your doctor may use the highest flow rate meter to check your asthma and monitor your progress. As soon as you try to blow into the tube of the flow meter and blow it as quickly as possible, the doctor will know how much your breath is affected. These readings also show if asthma is under control if measured regularly.

The doctor may also do some tests for you to see how your lungs work and help diagnose. However, asthma is not necessarily easy to diagnose because anything that blocks the lungs or airways can cause symptoms similar to those of asthma. For example, a child may have all the symptoms of asthma, but it may actually inhale something that blocks the airway, such as a coin or button.

In some cases, asthma symptoms in adults may be a sign of heart disease, especially if you have never had an asthma attack before. Some heart diseases can cause lung blockage, making patients have symptoms similar to asthma. ‘Adult Asthma Treatment, Diagnosis, Symptoms & Precautions’

3: Adult Asthma Treatment:

Although asthma is difficult to cure, you should try to avoid asthma exacerbation or seizures, not to mention a series of treatments to control the symptoms. The maximum flow rate must be measured regularly, and the doctor may help you measure it, or you can do it yourself.

1: Inhaler:

You can choose different instruments to control asthma. You may prefer a certain type of instrument, the most commonly used is an inhaler for inhaling medications for asthma. But no matter which instrument you use, your doctor or nurse should help you learn to use the instrument.

There are two main types of drugs that can be absorbed through the inhaler: “soothing agents” and “preventing agents”.

Soothing agents can quickly clear the airway, so this medicine is suitable for asthma attacks and when symptoms have been felt. Typical soothing agents include salbutamol (Ventolin), terbutaline and ipratropium.

The preventive agent can inhibit the symptoms every day, and can also be shared with the soothing agent. Most prophylactic agents are steroids taken inhaled to reduce the inflammation of the airways. Your doctor will only prescribe a precaution when you need to use the soothing agent twice or more a day. Prophylaxis does not work as soon as a soothing agent, and whether you have symptoms or not, you must use it as indicated on the prescription.

Common preventive agents include beclomethasone, budesonide, and fluticasone. Suction steroids have fewer side effects than tablets.

2: Tablet:

If your asthma is severe or unpredictable, you may need to take steroids in the form of tablets. The efficacy is the same as the inhalation preventive, which reduces the degree of inflammation.

Your doctor may give you a tablet called “leukotriene antagonists.” This is a newer treatment and is often used with soothing and prophylactic agents. Other helpful drugs include theophyllines (tablets) and sodium cromoglycate (inhalation).

3: Sprayer:

If you have severe asthma, you may need to use a sprayer to inhale a spray of water and medication. The drug is usually a soothing agent and sometimes a prophylactic agent. The main benefit of a nebulizer is the ability to deliver more of the drug to the desired site than a conventional inhaler. If your asthma is severely attacked and you need a soothing agent to transport it to your lungs, the sprayer will come in handy.

Sprayers are sometimes used to treat young children because they can have difficulty using an inhaler or taking a tablet.

4: Storage chamber:

The drug reservoir is given to a person who does not operate the inhaler, and more drugs can be introduced into the lungs.

The reservoir is a long tube with one end attached to the inhaler and the other end used as a suction nozzle or mask.

5: Treating asthma

If you or your child has asthma, remember that asthma attacks can be controlled by yourself.

Please discuss with your doctor to find other sensitive sources that may cause your asthma attacks and how to avoid them.

4: Adult Asthma Precautions:

Be prepared to get sick at any time, so that in the event of a symptom, you can cope with it and reduce the chance of a serious asthma attack without hospitalization. “Adult Asthma Treatment, Diagnosis, Symptoms & Precautions”.
